The only player to break his handicap, also winning Low Gross!

This year's Lubeca Cup was played on a super hot day , no casualties though😊. A light breeze brought some relieve. Players experienced very fast greens. Difficult bunkers were a challenge for most players, especially higher handicappers. Given the hot and dry conditions, the course presented itself in excellent shape.

Kurt Wendt won the Championship with a remarkable score of 40 STP's. He also won the Low Gross award, scoring 80.

Jerry Stehmeier was 1st runner up, beating Jomi Pegler and Peter Kane in a count back. All of them turning in 36 STP's.

Ladies Champion was Ruby Lepoutre, Guest Champion Magnus Karlsson. Closest to the Pin awards were claimed by Bill Cammack and Alex Pearson, with Gerald Egasse winning the Longest Drive Trophy.

All participants felt very much at home at the Dunder residence. Thankfully the temperature dropped a little in the evening and became pleasant. Once again Joyce and Rolf were excellent hosts. A delicious buffet was served, catered by the German Club. Cold beer and wine were most appreciated.

P.S.: Rolf confirmed his life-time sponsorship of this tournament.😀
