Klaus Koppenhöfer and Jose Arenas share lead, with Klaus winning in a countback
The Ayala Greenfield Golf Course presented itself under improved conditions. Greens were fast and the weather was (almost) perfect. Only two players broke their handicap, with Klaus and Jose scoring 37 STP’s. 5 players tied with 32 pts, with Bernd Jückmann winning the countback to come in as 3rd.
Ladies Champion was Haricel Pfisterer, Longest drive was hit by Jose Arenas and the most accurate drive by Biverley Verbo, while the longest drive was (not unexpectedly) won by Jose Arenas. Richard Delamare became guest champion. This marked the last time for him to win this trophy, as he joined the club as a member, following a little push from several participants
37 players joined the tournament. Contrary to public believe, the entry into the village was smooth and fast for all visitors. Several positive comments were received about the food quality. The red wine was finished.
